The Witch

Robert Eggers’ obsession with folklore really makes his films standout. There is something special about each of his films because he does so much to truly understand the lives his characters would be living. Truly an incredible directorial debut, seriously horrifying.  All of his films have been instant horror classics (except the northman which wasn’t a horror film but incredible nonetheless).
