Jessie Buckley offers a generational performance, and should absolutely start writing her Oscar speech. This film evokes every kind of emotion, with Paul Mescal adding to his portfolio of broken men. There was not a single dry eye in the cinema and to some extent I recon anyone that didn’t cry/almost cry should look into some sort of psychological evaluation.
