Dreams

this felt less like watching a movie and more like wandering through someone else's soul. akira kurosawa takes simple things,a field of flowers,a mountain, rain, wind, a painting and somehow makes them feel like so ancient and sacred and just like an artist painting their canvas with no intention to stop. also, seeing martin scorcese as van gogh was so fucking random lmao i like looking at nature not as a backdrop but as something alive and something wiser than us, maybe god and this movie does just that.
