Challengers

Is this too high of a rating? Only time will tell when one of my favorite youtubers does a video essay on this movie.  I don’t really have anything insightful to say about Challengers, it’s a great movie about the dynamics of relationships, the psychology of sport and winning and losing, and how competition rules the dynamic between the three leads. The music and shots were really cool, I really liked a lot about it but the way the story was laid out was a little bit disorientating at times. The ways in which time was skipped around in was a bit too much too fast in my opinion. I think all the characters are likable and somewhat realistic ? Some of the lines were a bit funny and I wonder how much of it was intentional. Certainly some of it, but I did find myself laughing at some of the “serious” moments. Really good though.
