This film really had a deep story but with a very clear and easy to understand storyline, that, I would say was just brilliant. The way most of the scenes were heavy and with a sense of unease was just exceptional.
Michelle was able to deceive people by her humanoid appearance but she wasn't able to deceive Teddy, she was heavy on capitalism and lacked a human heart and soul and Teddy looked exactly into it. (Is it a way of the director telling us that capitalists are aliens?) (Well we have enough evidence for that)
Teddy, I would say was a morally grey character. I won't justify his doings but it all makes sense after all the trauma he's been through, his trauma makes sense only with his conspiracy theories.
I should say the scenes, makeup and background scores were remarkable really.
And lastly, ofcourse, Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons did a phenomenal job.
