Well I wasn’t expecting much from this, honestly I didn’t even think I’d ever watch it as it seemed cheap and too rare to find. It took a simple TikTok and a YouTube channel to make me wanna watch it and ultimately make me watch it, for free. That said, it’s a pure masterclass. It’s visually stunning. It’s lwk a sort of Ran but Chinese version (doesn’t make it less interesting artistically though). The story is surprisingly well written and even the fights are super poetic. I could do a deep dive on the movie but my final exams are approaching and I’ve gotta study so imma leave you with just this extra motivation to watch this movie.
