i would die for that golden retriever. i absolutely adore the way this was animated. and the way all of the animals were portrayed so accurately, their unique survival instincts paired with their motives to play and fool around. THEY’RE JUST BABIES, the way they were itching to play omg.. everything with the bird at the end hit really hard. the bird scene itself and then the cat’s reaction at the end was so tough. i absolutely love nature man, i already know this is going to be an insane comfort movie for me, i loved it so so much. it felt so cozy watching it, although tense at times, but the animation really helped ease my worries. the soundtrack was amazing, reminded me a lot of minecraft ❤️ but also when things got tense, they got tense and the music did very well at matching every emotions, including the tense ones. this reminded me a lot of stray (the game) too which i also absolutely adored so i KNOW this will stay with me in the same ways that game has. playing that game and watching this movie just fills me with so much emotion i can’t describe. i’m rambling now but the animals really get to me man
