Sing Sing

i don’t think i have ever seen prison captured as in here justice system is so flawed, incarceration as an act of punishment is flawed, locking more people away is not going to lower the crime rates, locking people away won’t prevent them from recidivism, and even idea of rehabilitation is flawed, thinking of crime as caused by something inside not outside i cried many times during this movie just thinking about all of this and seeing how these people were able to let go of all of that and just feel free on that stage, just for a little while i went to acting club for a very short time but even that was able to change me, it really is not about making you an actor, it’s about you learning how to hold yourself  viewing experience was made even better because i knew that some actors were previously inmates too, i’m just so happy for them that they have this and hope the movie will bring attention to the problem
