Shutter Island

wow. normally im great with scary movies but i found this one deeply unsettling. from the get-go, shutter island pulls you into its maze and never lets you out. i came into this movie ready to be skeptical and doubt everyting that happens, even knowing a vague plot point about leo's character and his personality(s). but Scorsese manages to pull off some of the best twists and turns ive seen in a film thus far. i was on edge the whole time, even had to stop watching and come back multiple times. needless to say, i had a great time with the film and its one i kinda regret not watching sooner.
