NosferatuAzan 9.9· December 24, 2024FollowLook I’m sorry I doubted you Robert Eggers. I went into this thinking it would be the black sheep of Eggers films for me and I just wasn’t all that hopeful for it! I was so so so wrong. There are few movies where while I’m watching I think this is the type of movie I want to make, this is the movie I want to see!!! Yes I am biased towards Eggers style and direction but woww this movie is something. I think after this I can comfortably say Eggers is my fav director. THE FORCE OF NOSFERATU. A powerful, daunting villain. I felt as if Nosferatu had won and was untouchable half way through the movie, the shadow hand over the city shot, dreadful. He became borderline cosmic horror, something beyond nature and plays nature as it plays the humans. I have a few issues, I’m having trouble deciding between a 4.5 and 5 and I’m definitely going to have to rewatch but I truly don’t think it matters. This movie makes me feel cinema and thus I can turn a blind eye to what I have problems with. Robert Eggers is the GOAT!!! He does not miss bro.CommentsSign in to react and join the conversation.Sign inGet the app
