dont worry sadako i also fucking hate haircuts </3 this film despite being so eerie is also so cozy to me? this was my second attempt at watching it because i just fell asleep during it yesterday. to no fault of its own i was just insanely tired and watching it in pitch black at midnight😭 reiko is played PERFECTLY in this film, despite having to read subtitles the entire time and understanding an occasional arigato at most, you genuinely feel what reiko is feeling throughout it all, the horror, the joy, the sadness. im definitely excited for my inevitable rewatch of this film because i absolutely need to pick apart this film more also as adorable as yoichi was, reiko was ROBBED of being the survivor for the DBD chapter
