Flow
“Flow” is a film I really liked for how simply and honestly it tells its story. It follows a kid who just wants to chase his dream, and more importantly, actually does something about it. There’s something inspiring in that determination, in watching someone push forward even when the path isn’t clear. But what makes it more than just a straightforward dream-chasing story is the cost that comes with it. In pursuing what he wants, he drifts from his friends, just a little bit, maybe even betrays them, at least from their perspective. That tension adds weight to the journey. And when he finally reaches what he set out for, it doesn’t feel loud or triumphant, but earned. It’s a grounded look at ambition, loyalty, and what growing up sometimes demands, and I really appreciated that balance.
