1hr and a half of zero constantly going "what the hell, sure"

the way that all their friends and every single character in this movie still manages to blame nikki for the way she became, for being too dependent, too clingy, and too emotional. all the bullshit bear made her go through was held against her.. and not for a single second did ANYONE question the boyfriend in the relationship was so unfair yet brutally real and in the end even if she did technically get away, she still has to live through the literal hell this MANNN made her go through .... a man's dream will always be a woman's nightmare tlg FIRST THINKPIECE but this movie really brought out something in me

growing up is realizing (1) they romanticized that criminal's "edge" and trauma into this classic 80s bad boy image while letting the girl he harassed (physically AND verbally) multiple times end up with him in the end and (2) Allison's makeover was UNNECESSARY #ToMe give back my goth grunge baddie back in all her weirdness and whimsy
