“You didn’t say goodbye” “Well.. you’re just gonna have to forgive me for that” I’m DEVASTATED- This movie isn’t just a good action movie it’s a good movie. period. The dynamic between Eric and Shelley was beautifully written and was awfully heartbreaking. I cried multiple times watching it and then cried a bit more afterwards.  The portrayal of death, loss, and grief are what have stuck with me most. Yeah there’s explosions and guns but there’s also scenes where we sit and soak in Eric’s loss and emptiness over losing Shelley and coping with his own death. Him having to avoid Sarah as to not cause her more pain, having to relive what Shelley went through, and eventually having to accept everything, move on, and finally be at peace. This might become a top 5 for me. Brandon Lee was taken from us too soon, the impact he could’ve had in cinema- UGH Also as a costume and makeup design girly you know I gotta mention how immaculate Eric’s design is- It’s perfect there’s nothing else to say other than that
