> *“Chicano’s not a color. It’s the way you think and the way you live.”* this was absolute cinema, i loved the movie n the characters stories. it shows how people can choose the different paths in their lives. cruz was trying to get a good life but then he fell on drugs and all that which led him to hit rock bottom but then he got better n the speech he told paco at the end of the movie was very significant for me. since it showed how he managed to get a better life n he got clean. micklo shows how someone can get stuck in one phase of their lives n just stay there for the rest of their lives. since he kept going back to jail n that led him to plan montana’s death because of him ambition of power n wanting to be el mero mero. n finally paco who became a cop n he kept trying to help micklo to leave that life. for me this movie shows how you can change your life, n not let just one part of it decide the rest of it. you can either let that phase of your life consume you and stay there forever or improve and look for better opportunities. anyways i think this review is awful n im js yapping nonsense but absolute cinema n i fell in love w paco ok bye
