A film that stays with you — not easy to forget. This movie is something else — not just a story, but a whole experience. From the very first minute, I felt like I was living it with them, with Janiyah and her daughter, as if I was right there with them every step of the way. But when the ending came… I watched it twice. I didn’t cry, but something deep inside me was touched — like something grabbed me quietly from within. Taraji P. Henson, seriously, she was amazing! She played the role with an intense emotional strength. I felt everything she went through. Honestly, this movie is so underrated. People talking about Netflix movies need to watch Straw, because I haven’t seen a film this well-made in a long time — from the story, to the acting, to the directing.
