Annihilation

man i love these types of cosmic horror / psychological movies. this is my kind of niche. everytime i thought i knew where it was going or what it was trying to say, i get…. confused? not proven wrong, or right, but just. this is also one of the prettiest movies i’ve ever watched. the visuals and cinematography are chefs kiss. arrival level of beauty.  though i’d say some dialogue felt a bit too on the nose. not that important though, overall is still amazing. another thing, i don’t think im emotionally or literally capable enough to correlate her affair with the story. i guess it’s to explain hew saying she “owed” him. the ending gave chills. i knew it, but still. goddamn.
