if you know anything about me/my account this would obviously be in this position
swear everyone who watched this as a kid loves it i mean its just a masterpiece. been sleeping on it for way too long cause it wasn't on my previous (2) lists but here it is finally
one of my favourite films as a kid and its really one of the main ones that really got me into cinema / filmmaking so no3 feels fair
i love the vibe of ancient civilisations and what's more perfectly encompassing of that grand emotion it brings than the build up and presentation of laputa. this film evokes a feeling in me no other movies ever have before or since
always been my favourite harry potter movie. i love the direction it took the franchise and i've always been obsessed with it. its also the one i've rewatched the most and i've never got bored of it so idk i just love it
sad, confusing but it also makes perfect sense. i love the way it presents something thats more of an idea by telling it through a story, how love transcends everything, including time, something interstellar famously also tried. however, unlike interstellar, this told you it without even saying it out loud, (while interstellar had to tell you multiple times) it let you pick up on it, however even if you missed it, the film is still a masterpiece.
makes me too sad so to see it so high up considering how i’ve ranked this list just doesn’t make sense
i really love everything about this movie. its stayed at essentially the same place as the other list for good reason, the camera work and music + the violence and the costumes. i really do consider this perfect <3
sarge (gregg araki) you beautiful bastard

- det. hitchcock, brooklyn nine-nine

not personal enough for me to stay at my no1 spot. recently my film taste has changed a lot in ordinance with me and my personality. while this will still hold a special place in my heart (thus the still high placement) it’s a bit too lifeless and soulless for me as i am right now. still a probably perfect film but this list is more based on how the films make me feel and what they mean to me personally and thats how i am (currently) rating / ranking films

fell quite a lot of spaces but not cause i don't like it as much i just like a lot of stuff more
unsure about this placement cause i love this film and everything about it but it doesn't mean as much to me as other films. i do really love it though
i said in my review that this would probably hold a special place in my heart in the future. it already does
babygirl era al pacino but somehow he doesn't look babygirl ??? how did copella even do that ????
