The Shining

It’s very funny that Stephen King hates Kubrick’s version bc Jack acts insane before even getting to the hotel and then writes the most god awful screenplay with a Danny that could be played by Young Sheldon and has a chronic sinus infection (BLOW YOUR NOSE) and a new Jack that acts like a lifetime movie actor who’s rent is due in 2 days. It’s way more accurate to the book but that doesn’t necessarily help it … blowing up the hotel and making the hedge animals evil doesn’t work well on the screen…. I need to bring up how nasally Danny sounded the whole time again bc it drove me crazy. This version risks ruining the whole book which I thought was very good but this is soooo bad oh also when danny is playing in the snow his line is “Snow snow snow I love snow snow snow snow” What the hell?
