i am in tears...
this film felt so real. the experience of gentle friendship is so real.
this film actually doesn't care about sexuality of boys and it's so refreshing, because THEY ARE LITERAL CHILDREN, why think about it? i had the same experience with my classmates assuming i am in a relationship with my friend when we were literally 11 just because "oh but you don't date anyone from class soo...". wait what? why can't i hold my friend's hand? why can't i tell them "i love you"? now i understand it is even harder to do that when you're a boy.
friendship, stereotypes, loss, guiltiness, healing. everything is here.
