Ring

I didn’t love how it ended on a cliffhanger just to set up a sequel but honestly, I like to think of it as a standalone with an ending that leaves you thinking, “ah, there goes our main character.” I really enjoyed this. It fully commits without falling into clichés no hugging ritual can fix this, Sadako is still very much pissed. The threat remains and nothing can undo what’s been done.
