god i miss this type of movie, the melancholy and sentimental sadness… i know it still exists, it’s just so many movies nowadays try to overwhelm you to the point where you’re overstimulated, and while yes i love those movies too…. i much prefer these complex emotional stories with deep character studies that make you laugh and cry.
