A Quiet Place

My wife and I are seeing the sequel tomorrow, so we thought we’d revisit this one. This truly is a masterpiece of a film. With like 10 total lines of auditory dialogue, this one finds so many unique ways to create the gut wrenching tension present in its hour and a half run time. Which is crazy, because this movie has enough going on with it that I could easily see them try to stretch it out to 2 hours, and yet it’s perfect as it is. I know this isn’t his first foray into directing, but if John Krasinski can keep this up, and keep delivering knock outs? I think he has potential to be a legendary name eventually.
