And with this watch of Baby Driver, I finish my goal. I did it. 365 different movies in 2021. It wasn’t easy, but it’s done. Finishing it out with my favorite movie is an easy way to get a win though. Baby Driver is so fucking good. It’s genuinely my favorite movie, ever. It’s Edgar Wright’s finest work. His attention to detail is genuinely astounding, and watching it is a fucking treat. From the driving, to the soundtrack, to the performances. Fuck it’s perfection. Unfortunately, we have to do some “separating the art from the artist” here with Kevin Spacey and Ansel Elgort. One thing that always gets me is how fucking good Jon Hamm is. Jesus Christ what a fucking actor. He’s so good and I think we need to start giving him his flowers more, because I’ve never seen him disappoint. I can’t say enough good things about this movie.
