I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee love loveeeeeeee this movie omfg- Barbie cures the real world of misogyny ✨ I found such a new respect for Barbie after this movie, i always thought of Barbie the way Sasha thought of Barbie: misogynistic, sexualized, an unachievable version of a woman but after this film i see Barbie in a totally different light. That’s not Barbie☝️. Barbie was made to show little girls they CAN be anything, ANYTHING! But because we do live in the real world were men rule everything barbie became a depiction of our hopes and dreams failed. which is why we’ve come to “hate” the image barbie has inflicted on us. I think it was brilliant that they made the trailers and publicity for this movie stupid, light and fun when in reality they knew the movie was so much deeper then that. i believe that was their selling tactic, a genius one too, “come see a light and fluffy ridiculous film” then they unload all the problems of a woman on the audience, the world, and in the most crazed way possible!! ✨Barbie Land✨ I hope after people see this movie maybe things will change even if its just in the slightest, even if it just makes people stop and think about women, men, and world. That’s enough for me. Thank you Barbie🥹
