Midnight Runners

honestly don’t gravitate toward buddy-cop movies in general but i can’t deny how much i enjoyed this lol. unlike other movies in the genre that rely too much on comedy, this one actually takes its story seriously while still being funny as hell. the plot itself isn’t anything groundbreaking, but it never rlly needed to be. everything just works. i also liked how the movie knew when to be funny and when to lock in. and of course, park seo-jun and kang ha-neul CARRIED. their chemistry was so good that i would’ve watched 2 more hours of them just being idiots together. half of my enjoyment came from their friendship alone lol. overall, js a genuinely entertaining movie & a fun watch.
