The Fly

I think this is a one time watch with how gnarly it is but I think it is Cronenberg magnum opus. I generally find his protagonists flat but enlisting Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis elevate this so much. They bring charm, humor, and romance to the story. I could have watched a whole movie about the process of them building the teleporter. Yet, you get some truly creative and gruesome body horror set pieces in the second half. One of, if not the greatest horror movie ever made.
