oh coleman domingo how i fucking love you my favorite line in this movie was “we don’t use nigga in here. we use beloved.” i feel like for them, while being incarcerated, the word is used as instigation, fighting words, to create hostility. that’s not what they do in RTA. they create love and passion through art. when Divine Eye started to use “beloved” more, i genuinely started crying. what a movie.
