Rush Hour

Homethis is one of those movies ive been really embarrassed about never watching, but after my family went to the foo chow restaurant in chinatown, i just felt like that was a sign that i HAD to watch it. so i did, and my first impression was that this would NOT have even been given a chance in 2018. it was entirely based on racial humour, but for some reason that enhanced my experience because it added a hightened sense of cultural context to the film. overall, i really get the hype and i wish i was a part of that group of people that grew up with this franchise.
