Punch-Drunk Love

My second watch of PTA film, and now I understand why he’s called one of the best. The strength love gives to this vulnerable, almost pathetic, man is amazing. The film feels so chaotic—in a good way. So much seems to be going on at the same time and that storyline keeps me engaged throughout the running time. By the end, the character development of Berry seems so natural and inspirational. Also, I gotta mention the incredibly beautiful shots (the color and lighting) and intensely well-matched music. It’s just perfect. Really fun watch; I think I’d enjoy this more when (if) I find a love of my life like Berry found Lena.
