Tone deaf and offensive in its suggestion that police brutality and COVID are somehow silly or insignificant in the looming shadow of “big tech”.  Takes so many bizarre fucking turns it’s hard to keep up or really believe anything that’s going on. Draped with so many on the nose cultural references to 2020 which feel like Ari Aster AI generated. Cringey af. Sadly Emma Stone, Pedro Pascal, and Austin Butler, are all afterthoughts working with basically 0 serious material in favor of 3 hours of exclusively Joaquin Phoenix who I can’t stand.
