Fargo

FARGO IS GOOD. I've known this for a while now, yet here I am, film student, nineteen years old (same age as the film) and watching it for the first time. This film is amazing and it has so much to do with a strong sense of style and tone. Actors were fabulous, the character of Marge Gunderson was easily likable, badass and all round well developed and Frances McDormand was well cast for this role. The shots of places surrounded by snow and contrast with blood, cars, red jackets, whatever are always breathtaking and indisputably stylish and sophisticated. By the end of this film you are completely satisfied. This film is like a nice deluxe hamburger that has all the extras on it and you paid $27 for it but you don't regret a single cent.
