A Separation
My favourite genre of films is where everything in the film feels real, as if everything happened and there just happened to be someone around to film it. A Separation does that perfectly in every way.
Everything from the performances, to the writing, to the cinematography is fantastic I can't even begin to pick a single fault.
The way the themes are carried throughout the film and woven so well throughout is a constant reminder that no matter the twists and turns the story takes, ultimately you're watching a story about a family on the brink of separation.
