Beautiful 70mm print and my first time at the Aero Theater in Santa Monica; nice theater but the people in front of me were leaning and whispering to eachother through the whole thing, It was quite distracting but at least it could’ve been worse. The fact that this isn’t Kubrick’s best movie is crazy, however good of a director you think he is, he’s probably better. Absolutely the best looking Kubrick film print I’ve caught. I mean 2001 in 70mm is kind the peak analog movie experience.
