The Brutalist

call me a fish the way i took this bait!!! oscar bait or not, this was close to perfection; it was everything a movie, especially a biopic, should be. the score was larger than life and gave me chills everytime i heard the brass. although the first half was significantly better than the second, it was still excellence all around. the opening shots on the boat and the shot documenting the explosion of conflict between harry and erzsebet will be engrained in my head for a few days im sure. great performances from all, i will be rooting for this film in the months to come!
