˖ ᡣ𐭩 ⊹ ࣪ ౨ৎ˚₊ story one  My TV was on max volume when first scene started playing and now I’m pretty sure everyone thinks I’m a pervert so thanks for that jump-scare I was so happy when I started this film because of vi (her hair was super cute) and honestly never mind  I felt like this whole scene between the teacher And vi was just someone’s fantasy because there was literally no need for it to go on that long, I think it was ment to be funny?? Despite the fact weird racism is obviously is just not funny it was genuinely traumatising and the story she wrights about it after just kinda makes it worse like I'm genuinely confused was that supposed to be funny or are you genuinely trying to be serious. If it was trying to be serious I guess I could see the point they were attempting to make but having everyone victim blame her and then having her story end just made it look like she was being a racist and lying about her story  And her getting back with her boyfriend was supposed to be a negative thing because he was disabled?? Like he was a narcissist but you could tell that was more because he was struggling and he genuinely cared for her  Genuinely felt like someone who was far right made this and tried way too hard to make a deep social commentary “there not afraid to show the characters being bad people!!” I totally agree that in movies there should be more bad characters who don’t get a get a redemption but you need to wright a good plot to combat the lack of character growth because then it just feels like your watching this fucked up thing with no actual meaning behind it (yet again just feeling like a weird sexual fantasy…?) So vi story was either be trying be funny or trying to teach a lesson and it failed miserably at both and the fact I don’t know which one it was trying to be just shows how awful it is  (There could be a deep meaning behind this but all I have to say is that I’m not seeing it.) ˖ ᡣ𐭩 ⊹ ࣪ ౨ৎ˚₊ story two  My expectations were dirt poor after the first story that’s all I got to say but even though I was so sure the second half of the film was going to be just as bad I was really surprised I love Scooby with my whole heart he’s not very motivated (relatable) he’s genuinely just the ultimate level of nonchalant (also he wears a communism shirt and I FWWW IT!!) “He doesn’t do sport AND he’s a vegetarian do you think he’s gay..?” Tbh scooby wasn’t helping his case with the whole “ I don’t know things are really hard and I’m just trying to listen to Elton John” I didn’t get why scoobys family was implying he was making a bomb till i understood they were just comparing him to the Columbine shooters and I was jaw dropped. “Hey I want to film a documentary about the effects columbine had on teens!!” Grabs the grunge long haired boy smoking a cigarette  Lot of the Jokes his family made about him being gay I thought were just because he was Alternative or not traditionally masculine like his brother( so I assumed the movie was making these kind of jokes to mock people who fit into those categories) but it turns out he actually is gay so I’m shocked it tuned out that way Not going to able to look at Stephen stills in Scott pilgrim the same though. Scooby’s little brother makes me want to hurt someone and then myself how about you work on your personality instead of trying to hypnotise your parents into loving you dammm Im not going to say scooby’s brother deserved his fate but….  Honestly everyones perception of scooby is just so tragic and relatable he has no desire to do anything but he knows he wants more then what he’s got and that’s to be famous people think he’s naive for wanting things they feel are unrealistic but the fact he’s just so passionate about what he wants without the ability to act on it due to his circumstances is heartbreaking  He gets what he wants without having to do anything but for the cost of his family  I feel the point was to show that you need to work to achieve your goals but right before the end we find out that Scooby did in fact apply to college contradicts that Anyway if you wanna watch this fever dream movie skip whatever the first 30 minutes was for your own good.  Also this is only getting a 3 because of the second story if I had to rate the first one it would 100% getting a zero.
