Nope
ok took me a min to gather my thoughts but I loved this movie so much. I’ve been waiting for this since us and it did not disappoint - deserves more than five stars. legit smiling and giddy for so long after. I've loved daniel kaluuya for years since skins and black mirror and then get out, but he really has shown a different emo side to himself in this movie. love him so much like he executes every role wonderfully and the subtleties he adds just makes it that much more real. keke palmer is a queen so fucking funny love her. i love the slow sibling relationship progression happening. angel is so funny too like the dynamics between the characters were so perfectly done. no one in the theatre understood the movie like me though like there are elements only a black person would pick up on and thats what i needed from this movie. so amazing. steven yeun was soo good too and the way he didnt run to his kids and wife in that scene was funny as fuck. Jordan Peele is genuinely a genius because what kind of mind comes up w a monster like that like there’s no way anyone could’ve predicted it - it’s sick and amazing. and the little, minute references to classic american westerns like the posters and the end scene w daniel on the horse and the dust around him (as a dabbler in westerns) really set the scene for me. amazing movie. thank you, jordan peele. i will be rewatching...daniel kaluuya on a horse is fine asf.
Wasn’t sure ab this so I didn’t say it before, but the monster being in the shape of a praying mantis at the end opens the door to a whole new theory in my mind. genius. If it wasn’t, then ignore I said that.
