**maybe i’ll just sit here and bleed at you ** yay i enjoyed this! emily is just another laura palmer variant at first, the dialogue was so jarring because i didn’t know this was supposed to be a mash between a noir and highschool movie, but i think it was really creative and worked as well as it could have! also, sorry brendan being given juice and cereal by pins mom after being beaten up in her basement is hilarious

**get used to it.. sister!** this movie title is such a good use of oxymoron also sorry evan is the funniest person ever, i really identified with him whenever he laughed at his own jokes

**a good song can only do good** it’s so embarrassing to admit, but this movie genuinely brings me to tears, every music cue is so perfect, primarily due to bob dylan’s incredible song writing, but also because it’s so obvious how much everyone in this cared music is such an overlooked concept, i genuinely can’t believe how such a simple thing can bring so many people together

that is not the baby! i’ve only ever seen twin peaks, but based on that alone, eraserhead feels very true to david lynch i’ve heard that it’s not considered his best movie but i enjoyed it! i really liked the intro too! it made me feel like i was dreading something while not even knowing what it was this is also very simple, but i like the constant noise throughout the movie, im not sure what it’s called or if it has a name but it sounds like white noise it almost brings a sense of comfort and realism in a movie that is so far from reality ** “normal people don’t make films like eraserhead”**
