Sinners

*“ you keep dancing with the devil, someday he’s gonna follow you home “ * this might be one of the best movies i’ve ever seen, and i’ve seen a lot. this is just top-tier cinema, honestly. everyone i know has gone to the movie theaters to see it multiple times. it’s just that good. it’s been almost a year since the release, and it’s still popular on letterboxd. there’s no debate that this is oscar-worthy of the 14 awards. ryan coogler, you did your big one. black filmmakers continue to keep cinema alive. might have to get the whole dialogue from that one scene with mary and stack tatted on my back one day. it’s just so beautiful. i cried two times watching this film. love.
