3rd Kubrick film I've watched and I wasn't shocked at all that I absolutely LOVED this film. I will have to rewatch it eventually to properly gauge just how much it means to me, but every aspect of this film blends together so well it's crazy. Before I watched this I heard the usual yapping over how this is 'the best looking film ever' blah blah load of rubbish (oops it's the most visually stunning film I've watched shoot me). I mean it's a 3 hour period drama you'd think it would be a bore at points but I found the entire experience brilliant. Every element - the costumes, the sets, the score - got me immersed asf
