“The Drama” is really the most fitting name they could’ve chosen for this movie. Wow, A24 really know how to make the audience stressed while watching a movie, and I especially felt it throughout this story. The film really engages the audience especially as the trailer doesn’t reveal what the big secret is it’s almost like you HAVE to watch it to find out which I really liked. And man does it hit hard. Robert Pattinson does an amazing job at playing the character of Charlie who is clearly really affected by this insane story that his Fiancé reveals. It really goes deep into his emotions leading up to the wedding especially with all the hallucinations you can tell it has a psychological effect on him. And man was his acting top tier. Just when you think it can’t get any worse, somehow something else big is revealed and suddenly everyone knows about it. By the end, the wedding, the already stressful story ends up spiralling into broken trust, total gossip, and just pure chaos. Overall I really liked The Drama and I think it is a really strong movie overall in terms of what has been released so far this year, everyone delivers great performances, and the camera work and editing is especially great. **Rating: 8.3/10**
