Heretic

First half of the film presented some interesting debates on religion and the history of monotheism. I was consistently entertained even if at certain points I felt the plot was changing too quickly especially towards the end. I find myself trying to understand the overarching “motive” of a film and I think that the idea of a sadistic killer who uses the concept that “control is the common denominator across all world religions” to sort of justify his actions is interesting and refreshing. The blond mormon missionary had an outstanding performance. The only thing I could not stomach was the razor blade to the arm.
