Malcolm X

I think this movie solidifies the opinion of the Oscars being a joke. This should have swept. But the academy are cowards and would never get this film an Oscar because of what was going on in the world at the time. Denzel gave the best performance that year yet they gave it to Pacino simply because he didn't have one yet. He had Oscar worthy performances and was robbed some years but that was not the year to give him one. One of the greatest biopics ever. Spike Lee and Denzel may be the best acto director duo. Such a powerful important and moving film.
