1917

Tonight at the cinema, I have transcended into another universe. I feel so broken yet so complete. After Lord of the Rings and The Dark Knight obviously, this is my favourite watch of the year so far. The score alone is biblical, and one thing I'm learning about myself in this movie-a-day challenge is that I'm completely in love with the one-shot take. I loved it in Birdman, and I adored it tonight with 1917. Put this in every museum in the world because this is art, complete art, and filmmaking at its finest. Cried actual tears Watching this in IMAX back in 2019 would have been delicious. On a side note, 50 days already into the year. Time is flying, and I'm having so much fun.
