I’m very mixed on this one, I feel like the movies runtime is a detriment to getting the audience invested, there were some portions in the film I thought could have easily been cut. The ending as cool as it was with its practical effects felt strictly as if it was shock factor to wake up the viewer after enduring such a slow burn. Telling each side of these characters could have really built some speed if they’d just cut down some segments. Overall the acting was great. The practical effects were really exciting to see especially when most creators have switched to cg. The score was kinda cunty I won’t lie. It’s a decent film if you’re willing to invest the time but I think it gets a little over praised.

The Romeo and Juliet laws scene was so needless and weird it made me kinda uncomfortable. The Dino Bots were pretty epic. Lockdown was something that could’ve been cool but was done dirty and confused me. Mark Wahlberg was pretty fun to watch I won’t lie but the writing in these movies just seem to get worse the franchise goes on. Transformium is a worse title than unobtainium which is crazy.
