Tenet

"Don't try to understand it. Feel it." This quote works so perfectly for this film. After finishing it, I had no idea what had happened, yet I still felt I had watched am amazing film. It's such a surreal experience which I have never felt before. As I have mentioned in previous reviews, I do not believe that if I film needs extra studing in order to fully grasp, it should reduce my opinion on it. I love when a film requires some breakdowns and scene-by-scene analysis, because it highlights how much depth and detail it has. The writing, the acting, the cinematography, it was all gorgeous. I loved the fight scenes and the casting choices. All perfect - Christopher Nolan has created another art piece. "What's happened, happened... It's not an excuse to do nothing." This is definitely a movie that needs to be watched many, many times. I can't wait for a little bit of time to pass so that I can rewatch it and then notice the new details I never saw the previous time. Then, I will probably do it again, and again, and again. The thing about Tenet is that it is not a movie. It's a brain-teaser; the whole film is a puzzle which is begging you to solve it. But ultimately, you need to accept you won't be able to understand everything. It just isn't possible. Just feel it.
