Okay first of all shoutout to my local movie theater for only playing mortal kombat 2 and and mandalorian for the entirety of this release. (Yes we only have 2 rooms in our movie  theater). This movie is absolutely phenomenal holy. I’m such a sucker on recency bias but this could easily go number 1 on horror for me. The way this movie is shot and lit is near perfection. Performances that go above and beyond ESPECIALLY for a blumhouse film. Cannot wait for Barkers next film because oh my god I don’t know how he gonna top this one.

Haven’t seen this film in yearssss. For being 81 minutes it fucking drags tbh. Still super spooky, the last 30 minutes carry hard though. Probably the only instance where I support the directors messing with the actors and damn near traumatizing them. Yeah the characters are kinda annoying but I feel like we’d all be pretty annoyed if we got lost in the woods shooting a documentary about a witch.

“Fuck the Queen” 🗣️🗣️🗣️ An emotional roller coaster is all I can say. One of the best performances I’ve seen from a lead actor. Definitely a must watch!!

Pretty formulaic Pixar storytelling but the animation is top tier. Also really love Dave Franco and Jon Hamm in this definitely the highlights for sure. Just wish they can capture the same Pixar feel that they brought to the table in the 2000s.
