I love the way this ends, it's not about a verdict, a final answer on the case, or worse, a silly twist like oh it wasnt him all along actually. The focus is on the family and the impact the whole situation has on their life, which is way more powerful and heartbreaking than any grand reveal in a court scene. The show is cold and straight forward in asking the right questions.
