My dad said “she’s going to kill herself” three different times about different characters

I haven’t been earnest on letterboxd in a MINUTE and idk why supergirl has inspired me to do so but here we are. Very successful in what it set out to do. Exactly as cynical as I hope from a superhero movie and just as cheesy too. Milly Alcock is a force. Even when delivering sarcastic lines, it never feels like she’s laughing at the audience. It’s endearing in a way that works so well with Corenswet’s Superman. Mad Max Michael Keaton Momoa is there for some reason and… it really works for me. And Eve Ridley!!! She does a fantastic job, proving to be a force in her own right. Soundtrack fits perfectly (though I could’ve done without the acoustic version of The Middle) and I LOVED seeing all da aliens (take notes Star Wars). Overall: rip Kara Zor-El you would’ve loved the Witch from Into the Woods

He likes it cold

Of all the movies I’ve played at camp, this is the only one that the kids would actually watch
