Midsommar

Genuinely an amazingly well made film. This movie, while definitely containing horror aspects, is not structured like one. What makes it so unique is how it throws all of the disturbing and disgruntling things right in your face, and doesn’t shy away from anything. Most importantly, the acting in this movie is top notch. Without the amazing performances of the cast, the choreography they perform, and also the great costume and set design, this movie would fall flat in the very mature and wild themes it seeks out to explore. Not mid, just sommar.
